Sean [20 Days]

Today’s blog is extra special to me. Sean is the son is one of my favorite people. Suffice it to say his arrival has been long awaited & much anticipated. His birthday was 5 years & 2 days after my own son so I had a lot of emotions in the days leading up. I actually walked into Erin’s hospital room crying (and proceeded to cry multiple times throughout our visit) 2 days before Sean was born because it was my son’s birthday. I was remembering & reliving those early days in my mind & I was just so overwhelmed knowing the extreme amount of joy & love that was coming her way. I can think of nobody more deserving. I’ve never seen anyone step into the role of motherhood so effortlessly. Meeting Sean & holding him for the first time was indescribable. To be succinct, he is perfect. Don’t tell Erin or John but I cried driving home too. I’m crying right now. Congratulations you guys. You’re the best parents this guy could have ever picked. He won the parental lottery with you guys. I hope he knows how lucky he is to have you! Welcome to the world Sean Seamus!
